Preparing for your Vacation

When preparing for a vacation, please remember your pets. We generally ask people to follow these steps in order to help us better serve your pets.

  1. Leave emergency numbers on the table (your location/destinations, cell number, someone who can make decisions in your absence).
  2. Be sure that your pet supplies have been stocked. (Allow for extra days in case you are delayed.)
  3. If your animal needs insulin, double check with your vet what an appropriate dosage would be while you are away.
  4. Alert neighbors and anyone who will be at your house that we will be caring for your pets.
  5. Bring along a business card! We welcome a call or e-mail to check in on your pets. In case of delays, please contact us so we can adjust our schedule.
  6. If anything has changed since we spoke last, leave a little note.
  7. Relax. Have Fun! Your furry children are in good hands.
